    #FinalSubmissionD21-29 Sustainability in Engineering MOOC

    in Final submissions

Team 29's final submission consists of four documents- the video below explaining out motivation and idea to solve the brief, a written proposal, a written in-depth breakdown of the course content, and the slides from the video.

We would like to thank @Nasser Al-Tell for his mentorship and advice, and everyone who worked to make the Designathon possible.

Congratulations a nicely pulled together proposal, good flow and makes lots of sense. Really liked your week 2 assignment "Find about a past project of yours, or research a project, and talk about how it could have been made more sustainable" creative thought. Good luck.

When thinking about our own course we thought it would be beneficial to try and encourage students to actually implement sustainability as well as discussing it! Thanks for all of your feedback, it has been very helpful.

As a MOOC addict, I'd download this in a heartbeat. Engineering MOOCs are sorely lacking, and so are sustainability ones. I'm sure you've drawn inspo from the popular sites already (Coursera, linkedin learning, Udemy), incase you didn't know I recently found this site only for engineering MOOCs which you could add to your pitch as a negative example of how the current offerings fail to both tackle sustainability issues and to deliver to a wide range of people by being too focused on technology. Theres defo a place for their courses but even more importantly there is a place for a course like yours.

I've commented more extensively on other posts, but honestly I don't have much to add to yours. I was onboard from when I saw it in the forum posts a couple weeks back. It really should exist and I'd be the first through the door. If you take it forward i'd be happy to offer my perspective where it helps!

Thank you so much for your interest! I'll definitely take a look through that site. We were so surprised by the lack of broad sustainability courses in an engineering context and felt we had to address this! If we do take it forward we'd love to speak with you.
